Government Bodies & Regulatory Authorities

Municipal Corporations / Local Authorities: The primary issuing authority for Event Management Licenses (EML). They require mandatory "No Objection Certificates" (NOCs) from police, fire, and health departments for large-scale public gatherings.
Local Police Department: Statutory authority for maintaining public order, traffic management, crowd control planning, and security clearance for large ticketed events.
Fire Services Department: Responsible for auditing venue fire safety, ensuring clear fire exits, inspecting electrical installations, and approving firefighting arrangements before the event begins.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA): Sets the overarching framework for emergency preparedness, mitigation, and disaster response that event safety plans must align with for high-risk or large-scale national events.
Central Electricity Authority (CEA): Sets mandatory standards for electrical safety, fire prevention from short circuits, and earthing requirements essential for large events utilizing heavy technical loads.
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI): Regulates food safety standards for event catering and vendors.
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY): Sets cybersecurity and data protection guidelines relevant to event digital systems.
